Speech and Language Development
As a Speech Language Pathologist, one of our roles are to determine if a child is meeting their developmental milestones. Speech Pathologists are know to be involved in a child's life as early as birth. Many times we come in contact with parents who are not as open to accepting, or aware that their child may not be hitting their developmental mile markers. With this being said I would like to share some links that may assist parents in educating themselves on typical speech and language milestones.
These particular links are courtesy of the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
