October's activity

Here are two activities I completed with my students during the month of October. The pumpkins were created with my articulations students. They earned pieces to create their pumpkins through correct production of target phonemes ( all pieces were pre-cut and whole punched). Students were given the instruction that for every 3 or 5 (depending on the groups age) correct phonemes they would earn piece that would ultimately create a pumpkin. The picture is a end result of their work and they loved making the pumpkins. The second picture was a language activity used during the month of October. With the book shown, students answered "wh" questions, word on recall events in a story, identifying adjectives, quantitative concepts, and sequencing. This book work as a multi-function activity. Where I was able to address various objectives during on session, and the best part the students loved the book. Special thanks to my school's librarian for loaning me the book. :-)
