Speech Showers

This activity was inspired by the saying "April Showers". However, we will be using this game/reinforcement through out the year. I have used this activity mostly as a reinforcement. Students earn raindrops when they provide correct answers (Language students) or correct production (Articulation). This can also be used with smaller students who are provided therapy for fluency (when a strategy is used they could perhaps receive a raindrop). On completion of the activity the students fill up the poster with raindrops. The raindrops can also be laminated (as pictured) and written on. So you may want to place the students sound or word on the raindrop, or 'wh' question's may be written on the raindrops. Remember any activity can be adapted to the objective/skill that is being targeted.
