Reinforce Sweet Sounds this Week!!

The life of a SLP can be extremely busy and so many times we want to incorporate an activity that relates to an holiday, but time does not permit. Nevertheless, as Valentine's quickly approaches us and as time slips away, there is no need to worry. I am here to the rescue.

I decided to deliver you a "Sweet Treat" just in time for Valentine's Day. I present to you a printable reinforcement worksheet to lessen your prepping worries. I know many SLPs who work in the schools, unlike our friends working on the medical side, are limited to what tangible rewards they can give (if any). Therefore, I have found a way that allows rewarding your students/clients this Valentine's Day to still be possible. How? You may be asking yourself. Well by using what is one of the poster candies for the holiday. I created a Hershey's kisses reinforcement worksheet.

How it works:
As your student/client provides a correct response related to the skill he/she is working on, have them mark each "kiss" using a paint dauber or bingo maker. Not only will this have the client/student more involved in the session, it is fun. Note: this worksheet that can be tweaked so that it is used with Articulation, Language, and Fluency.

Materials needed:
Worksheet (found under the "Printables" tab)
Bingo maker or Paint dauber

Bonus Fun!!
In the spirit of Valentine's Day, I just wanted to add an extra fun idea. This one is for you all that work with our tiny ones (4 and under). As a fun craft or reward following your awesome session, paint your client/students hands,  and have them overlap them diagonally to make a heart out of hands. A for sure fun experience for your little ones.
